When the chapter begins, watch the short scene and you'll gain control of Connor. Exit the car and walk over to the food truck where Hank is located. You'll need to reconcile with Hank after the events of the previous chapter.

When you walk up to where Hank is talking to another person, use R2 to scan everything marked off. You'll scan the other person, Hank, the food in the truck, and the person working in the food truck. This will open up more dialogue options for you.

You'll then speak to Hank and will have to choose a statement to tell him. Choose the option to "Apologize for Behavior", this will increase Hank's trust. When the food is being given to Hank, use R2 to scan the food. Hank will then walk over to the nearby table and begin eating, follow him and begin the dialogue.

You'll have multiple unlocked options for the dialogue. Pick any one in any order to talk to Hank (but the Cholesterol choice makes the most sense at this moment), and watch the dialogue between them play out. Hank's trust will increase with the dialogue you choose. Eventually, you'll have other dialogue options that allow you to talk about deviants, Connor himself, and Hank's disdain for androids.

After the extended dialogue, you'll be able to choose whether to lie to Hank or tell the Truth. Choose the Truth option and watch the conversation play out. Connor will then get a call and the two of them will head out to a building to investigate.

Connor and Hank will arrive at a rundown apartment. Exit the elevator and follow Hank down the hall. You'll see feathers on the ground to your right that you can analyze. Hank will then walk up to a door that you can knock on. Do so and watch the cutscene that plays. Hank will then bust open the door, follow him inside as he checks each room.

Continue following Hank through the house until you see a bunch of birds flying around. You'll be able to examine objects within the apartment. Take a look at the jacket on the table on the right side of the apartment, then move to the left to see a farmers poster and closet you can inspect.

You'll scan the poster and then be able to remove it. Within the cracked wall is a journal you can pick up and read. Hit the prompt to browse through the journal.

Move back to the other side of the apartment and pick up the ID card on the shelf. Then take a few steps to examine the bird food on the counter and the empty fridge next to it. Looking at these will give you more info about the suspect. Move over to the bathroom on the left side and examine the sink. You'll be able to sample the blue blood on there and pick up the tracker on the side of the sink. This will confirm the suspect is a deviant.

You can then turn around and look at the markings on the wall. Hank will come in and a short dialogue will play. When he leaves and you regain control, analyze the broken seat on the ground, which will allow you to scan two clues and reconstruct the scene.

Scroll the timeline to the yellow part and scan the two prompt that appears. You'll see where the suspect ran off to. Go back to the living room and scan the birdcage on the ground to reconstruct again and see where the suspect ran to.

Eventually, the reconstruction will show you that the suspect is still there and went into the floor above you. When you look above, the deviant will jump down on to Connor and scare Hank with a bunch of birds flying around.

Chasing the Deviant

You'll start chasing the deviant through the building. You'll have to hit prompts and buttons that appear as you control Connor's movement when he runs. Hit each prompt you see as it appears to get over obstacles and avoid slowing down as you chase the deviant.

The chase will go outside and into a field. Guide Connor towards where you see the deviant running, and eventually you'll have to scan using R2. This will allow you to choose a path for the chase, you can either take the fast but risky path or the easy but slow path.

Whichever path you take will determine the button prompts that you see, as well as slow you down or speed you up during the chase. You'll need to decide which way within seconds, or you'll be given a choice.

Take the path you choose and continue chasing the deviant. When you move forward, you'll have to make another choice of path for the chase, only now you have three options. Choosing the fast option is risky, but do so and hit the button prompts that appear to jump up and over the truck to the ledge above you. You'll have to choose another path, either the safe detour or the crowded direct route. Take the safer route to avoid many obstacles within the greenhouse ahead of you.

Keep chasing the deviant down a slope and hit the prompt to jump into the building. When you land, quickly move to the left to continue the chase. A door will slam ahead of you, so quickly turn to the right before it to go out a nearby door.

When outside, use R2 to scan and choose another route for the chase, take the fast but risky route, since its the most direct. When you run ahead, hit the prompts and slide down the slope. Hit the next few prompts that appear to avoid the gaps on the slope and jump to the train and eventually to the next ledge after the deviant.

Continue running and avoid the trees ahead as you chase the deviant. Hit the button prompts to jump ledges and you'll have to scan for another path. Take the direct route through the greenhouse, you'll have to avoid the Android crowd and jump between the garden shelves to avoid obstacles as you chase the deviant down.

The chase will lead outside into a cornfield, keep running forward and you'll become faced with a critical choice.

You can decide to pursue the deviant or save Hank. There will be a probability that Hank will survive the scenario, but choose to save Hank. The deviant will get away, but Hank's trust level will increase after you save him. A short scene will play and the chapter will end.
